A tip from my mechanic.

I remember as a little girl when you would fill up the car, a handsome gentlemen would ask, can I check under your hood?  This gentleman would then check your oil, wash your windows and then check the pressure in your tires.  Do you suppose we knew what we were doing before the day of self service gas stations?

Making sure your tires are properly inflated you can improve your gas mileage by 3 percent?  Calculated over a years time that’s quite a savings.  For each gallon you save there is a direct impact on our earth of up to 20 pounds of C02 emissions.
